Margaret Davis, 504 McGhee St., Maryville, died Saturday at Baptist Hospital. Survivors: parents, Mr. And Mrs. John Davis Sr.; sister, Mrs. Marion Robinson of Nevada; brothers, John Jr. and David Davis of Oakland, Calif., Charles and Robert Davis, both of Maryville; nieces, Carolyn and Jeanette Davis, both of Maryville; nephews, E. C. Robinson, George S., Charles Jr., John Owens and James Jr. Davis, all of Maryville; aunts, Mrs. Myrtle Boyd of Springfield, Mass., Mrs. Elise Spivey of Washington, D.C.; great-aunt, Mrs. Birdie Burney of Tampa, Fla. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Saint Andrews Episcopal Church, Maryville, with Dr. Roderic Murray officiating. In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to make contributions to the cancer fund in Miss Davis’ honor.

Thelma Elizabeth Greene Davis, 86, of Alcoa, passed away Saturday, September 4, 2004, at Asbury Acres Health Center. She was a member of First Baptist of Alcoa. Preceded in death by husband, Charles Edwin Davis;, parents, John and Vertie Greene; brother, John Greene Jr.; sister, Edna Greene. Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Robin Davis of Friendsville; daughters and sons-in-law, Betty and Glenn Garner of Louisville, Wanda and Russ Cox of Knoxville, Donna and Jerry Hardwick of Louisville; grandchildren, Kelli Biggs of Maryville, Kent Thomas of Ala., Keith Thomas of Guadalajara, Mexico, Doug Nolte of Knoxville, Scott Nolte of Alcoa, Christopher Hardwick of Maryville and Elizabeth Hardwick of Louisville; great-grandchildren, Grace Biggs, David Biggs, Anna Katherine Biggs, Maggie Biggs, Christina Thomas, Lydia Thomas, Sara Beth Thomas, David Thomas, Josiah Thomas; brothers, Homer Greene of Nashville, Howard Greene of Alcoa, Walter Greene of Friendsville and Eugene Greene of South Carolina; sisters, Mildred Myers of Maryville, Ethel Derrick of Ill., Francis Prichard of Ala., Helen Bell of Alcoa; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services are 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 7, 2004, in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with the Rev. Henry Linginfelter officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 8, 2004, at Grandview Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. till 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 7, 2004, in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary, Maryville, 983-1000.

Russell; stepchildren, Frank Drake, Louisville; Adam Drake, Maryville; Mrs. Edgar Dyer, Knoxville; Mrs. Fate Cooper, Blue Grass, Tenn.; Mrs. Ed Long, Rt. 9; Mrs. A. D. Drake, Rt. 3. Funeral services Sunday 2 p.m. at Laurel Bank. Burial in church cemetery. Rev. Ben Kennedy officiating.

Anna Mae Dunham, 78, of Maryville, died at 8:50 p.m. Tuesday at the family home. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church, Senior Citizens Gingham Band, former Sunday school teacher and member of Akron Baptist Temple, Akron, Ohio. Preceded in death by husband, Victor W. Dunham; grandson, Chad Dunham; parents, Abraham and Mary Hatcher Law. Survivors include: sons, Dr. V. Edward Dunham and wife Janet of Clinton, Ohio, William H. Dunham and wife Jane of Akron, Ohio, and Eugene Dunham Miller of Denver, Colo.; grandchildren, Mark E. Dunham and Jennifer R. Dunham, both of Clinton, Ohio; sister, Rebecca Law of Maryville; several nephews and nieces. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the West Chapel of Smith Mortuary with the Rev. Carl White officiating. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday and 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at the mortuary.

Anna Mae Davis Dunlap, 81, of Maryville, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2003, at Fairpark Nursing Center. Mrs. Dunlap led a full active life which included a special place in her heart for her friends at New Hope Baptist Church. Preceded in death by beloved husband, Joseph Roy Dunlap; granddaughter, Mary Ann Fuller Nivens; brother, Fred Davis; sister, Kathleen Scinto. Survivors: son and daughter-in-law, Leroy and Gearldine Dunlap, Maryville; daughters and sons-in-law, Dora Mae and Troy Richardson, Phenix City, Alabama, Betty and Don King, Maryville, Edna and Jerry Payne, Alcoa, Jo Ann and Grady Brooks, Hixson, TN; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, 2003, Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Michael Parker, Rev. Ronnie Steele officiating. Family and friends will meet at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for the interment at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
