Rena Doris Jennell Houser Farley, 58, of Maryville passed away at Blount Memorial Hospital December 30, 2004. She was preceded in death by her Parents: John and Hazel Stallions Houser, Husband: Donald Farley, Uncles: Roy and Howard Stallions, Grandparents: Hubert and Lina Stallions who raised her. Survivors include: Her Daughters: Missy, Crystal, Dewelda, Sons: Howard and wife Renee Perkins all of Maryville, Grandchildren: T.J., David, Hank, Mary Elizabeth, and Jana Grace. Step children: Evelyn, Louise, Dana, Marty, and Cas, Several step-grandchildren. Aunts: Nellie Finger, Verna Smith, and Beaulah Tucker all of Maryville, several cousins and many friends. Funeral services will be at 6:00 P.M. Sunday January 2, 2005 at Memorial Funeral Home in Maryville with Pastors Donna and David Hutsell officiating. Friends and family will meet at 3:00 P.M. Monday January 3, 2005 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery for graveside services. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. J. M. Virgil Fife, 41, succumbed to a heart attack on church street Friday night. Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Allene Nichols Fife; sons, J. M. Virgil Jr. and Charles Odell; daughters, Barbara, Wilma Jean, Brenda Ann; parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Fife; brothers, Harley and Earl; sisters, Mrs. John Davers and Mrs. Fred Hammock. Funeral services conducted at Clark's Grove church, at 4 p.m. Wednesday. Interment there.

Reuben Earl Fife, 56, of Route #2, Greenback died at 6:00 A.M. Friday at Blount Memorial Hospital. Survivors: wife; Mrs. Mary Lee Bryant Fife, son; Billy of Germany, daughters; Mrs. John Burchfield of Maryville, Mrs. Arthur Huskey of Friendsville, and Mrs. William Ray West of Seattle, Washington, 15 grandchildren, sisters; Mrs. John Dover of Maryville and Mrs. Fred Hammock of California, brother; Harley of Maryville. Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at McCammon-Ammons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Fred H. Garner and the Rev. Frank Easter officiating. Interment will be in Clarks Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Sarah Fife, 85, of Route 9, Maryville died in Blount Memorial Hospital early Saturday morning. Survivors include two sons, Harley of Maryville and Earl of Greenback; two daughters, Mrs. John Dover of Route 9, Maryville and Mrs. Fred Hammock of Ontario, California, two sisters, Mrs. L. B. Whittemore of Alcoa and Mrs. W. C. Fife of Cumming, Georgia, 27 grandchildren and 50 great grandchildren. Funeral at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday at Millers Funeral Home Chapel. Burial in Clarks Grove Cemetery.

Juanita Margaret Fleeman, 79, of Maryville, went to be with the Lord Friday, January 14, 2005, after a lingering illness at home. Born October 11, 1925, in Jonesville, Va., she was the daughter of the late Curtis and Celia Edens Bledsoe. She was a member of Maryville Church of Christ. Juanita was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She is survived by her husband, Arvle Fleeman of Maryville; sons, Danny Fleeman of Maryville and David Greer and wife Joan of Monroe, Mich.; grandchildren, Alissa Case and husband Norman of Greer, S.C., Ryan Greer and wife Rachel of Monroe, Mich., Todd Greer and fiancée Chelsea Bennett of Rochester Hills, Mich. She is also survived by stepchildren, Jimmy Fleeman and wife Julie of Macedonia, Ill., Linda Fultz and husband David of Delphi, Ind., Sandi Staton and husband Dexter of Sandusky, Ohio; seven step-grandchildren; eleven step-great-grandchildren; brothers, Harold Bledsoe of Maryville, Curtis Bledsoe Jr. and wife Jeanette of Knoxville, Kyle Bledsoe of Kingsport, Larry Bledsoe and wife Frances of Muncie, Ind.; sister, Sue Laws and husband Willie of Muncie, Ind. Roscoe {R. D.} Fowler, 88 of Dalton, GA, a native of Vonore, TN, passed away 9:35 A.M. Friday, December 31, 2004 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a life-long member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Vonore, TN. He was a devoted husband, son, father, grandfather and friend. He leaves all to cherish his memory. His life was filled with family, friends and music. He was a hard worker who loved to work his farm and was actively involved with the senior citizens in Dalton, GA. He was very appreciative of his loving caregivers throughout his lengthy illness and also of the prayers and kindness shown by his community. Preceded in death by daughter Joyce Kathaleen Hill; parents Authur L. and Bertha Ann Fowler, father-in-law Sam Bryant. Edward O. French, 85, of Maryville passed away Saturday, January 8, 2005, at Blount Blount Memorial Hospital. Member of Dotson Memorial Baptist Church. Was a veteran of WWII. A member of the Masonic Lodge 244. He was a lifelong deacon of the Second Baptist Church of Knoxville.
