Charles W. "Chuck" Hall, Jr. 39 of Maryville, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2002, in the Civil Air Patrol plane crash in Anderson County. He was a graduate of Heritage High School and the University of Tennessee, he was a pilot for Net Jet and a member of the Civil Air Patrol. Survivors include: parents, Charles W., Sr. and Pat Bradburn Hall; grandmother, Lela Lee of Maryville; aunts, Dorothy Webb, Loretta Wade both of Maryville, Barbara Queen of Knoxville and Shirley Townsend of White Pine; uncles, Avery Hall of S. C., Bobby Hall, Don Hall, Johnny Hall, Ronnie Hall, Dewey Bradburn all of Maryville; best friend, Susan Long of Maryville; several great aunts and great uncles; several cousins. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Lt. Col. Jeff Wadley officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Old Piney Cemetery for the interment service. Clay Hall, 86, of Maryville died Wednesday at his home. He was a member and deacon of Old Piney Baptist Church, was retired from ALCOA and was a member of The 25 - Year Service Club. He was a former Blount County deputy. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cora Braden Hall, and two sons, J. T. and R. L. Hall. Survivors include: daughters and sons-in-law, Dorothy and Gene Webb and Loretta and Jerry Wade, all of Maryville; sons and daughters-in-law, Avery Eugene and Babbs Hall of Sommerville, S.C., Charles and Pat Hall, Bobby and Pat Hall, Don and Brenda Hall, Johnny and Shirley Hall, and Ronnie and Shirley Hall, all of Maryville; 17 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Ines (Mrs. Kenneth) Sullivan, Pat (Mrs. James) Brinkley, both of Maryville; brothers, Johnnie Hall and Eliga Hall, both of Maryville; several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held at 8 p.m. today at McCammon-Ammons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Sullivan and the Rev. Clifford Debety officiating. Cora B. Hall, 75, Rt. 7, Maryville, died Thursday night at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by a son, J. T. Hall. Survivors: husband, Clay Hall; daughters, Dorothy Webb and Loretta Wade, both of Maryville; sons, Avery Eugene of Sommerville, S. C., Charles, Bobby, R. Fred J. Holt, Jr., 59, of Louisville, formerly of Knoxville, passed away Saturday evening, September 4, 2004, at his home. He was a member of Saint John's Methodist Church in Maryville and a member of the University of Tennessee Police Department for over 37 years where he was a Senior Patrolman. He was a graduate of Farragut High School. Fred was a United States Army veteran who served during the Vietnam War, a member of the N.R.A. and the Fraternal Order of Police. Fred was preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Edith Roberts; brothers, Edward, Carl, Ross and Claude Roberts; sister, Margaret Marley; and brother-in-law Ray Yardley. Fred is survived by his companion of 29 years, Wanda Hammontree of Alcoa; brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Odessa Roberts of Knoxville and brother, Bobby Roberts of Clinton; sister and brother-in-law, Clara Betty and Jack Weaver of Springfield, Va., and sister, Glenda Yardley of Westfield, Ind.; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral service, 8:00 p.m. Monday at Rose Mortuary Mann Heritage Chapel with Rev. Bruce Hensley officiating. The funeral will be held at 8 p.m. Saturday in McCammon-Ammons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Ditmore and the Rev. Clayton Ferguson Jr. officiating. Family and friends will meet at 2 p.m. Sunday at Grandview Cemetery for the interment service. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Earl Wesley Hutsell, 76, of Maryville died Sunday, April 12, at the family home. He was a member of Peck's Memorial United Methodist Church and of New Providence Masonic Lodge No. 128 F&AM. He was preceded in death by parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Hutsell; brothers, Nelson, Tom, Howard, Eugene and E. J. Hutsell Jr.; sisters, Blanche, Stella, Katie, and Mary Lee. Survivors include wife, Ruth Lawson Hutsell; daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Lynn Monday, Jill and Rick Fernandez, Sydney and Lonnie Simpson, all of Maryville; grandchildren, Emily Monday, Lacy Simpson, Wesley Fernandez and Katie Fernandez. The funeral service will be at 8 p.m. today in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with the Rev. H. B. Hauk and the Rev. Perry Duncan officiating. The interment will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at the mortuary.
