Dora Mae Henry Nichols, 80, of Maryville passed away Saturday evening, October 5, 2002 at the family home. She was of the Baptist Faith. Retired from Blount Memorial Hospital. Preceded in death by husband, Paul Nichols; parents, Sam and Pearl Garner Henry; brother, Lloyd (Junior) Henry; half-brother, Elmer Henry; half-sisters, Estel Martin, Lula Monday. Survivors: sisters, Gladys Graves, Ola Clark both of Maryville, Bonnie Watson of Walland; son and daughter-in-law, Paul E. and Phyllis A. Nichols of Maryville; granddaughter and husband, Donna and Bill Long of Maryville; great grandchildren, Loren, James Paul Long; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 8:00 p.m. Monday October 7, 2002 Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Sidney Ogle officiating. Family and friends will meet at Ellejoy Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday afternoon for the interment service. Special thanks to U.T. Hospice and Bobbie Lewis R.N.; sister, Gladys Graves; nephew, Buddy Clark; caregiver, Bobbi Zerbo, and to Jeanie Myers. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.

J. T. Nichols, 75, of 1513 Jefferson Avenue, died at 4:25 a.m. Tuesday at Fort Sanders Hospital. Survivors: three daughters, Mrs. Beulah Pemberton of Knoxville, Mrs. Aleene Fife of Maryville and Mrs. Pauline Gregory of Alcoa; two sons, John C. and Paul Nichols, both of Maryville; 11 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Mrs. Oma Henry, Walland. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday at Miller's Funeral Home Chapel. Interment in Clark's Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. today at Miller's Funeral Home.

Paul Nichols, 68, of 307 McGinley Street, Maryville, died Sunday at the family home. Survivors include: wife, Dora Mae Henry Nichols; son and daughter-in-law, Paul E. and Phyllis A. Nichols of Maryville; granddaughter, Donna S. Nichols; sisters and brothers-in-law, Beulah "Bea" Pemberton of Alcoa, Alaine and Glenn Harris, Pauline "Polly" and Clyde Gregory of Alcoa; brother, John C. Nichols of Maryville; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents, J. T. and Sadie Nichols. Funeral will be at 8 P.M. today at Miller Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Sidney Ogle and the Rev. J.C. Reed officiating. Interment at 2 P.M. Wednesday at Ellejoy Baptist Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 7 P.M. to 8 P.M. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Sadie Burns Nichols, 61, of 1513 Jefferson Avenue, died at 1:20 a.m. today at the family home, Survivors; husband, J. T. Nichols; three daughters, Mrs. Aleene Fife, Maryville; Mrs. Pauline Gregory, Alcoa; Mrs. Beulah Pemberton, Knoxville; two sons, John and Paul Nichols, both of Maryville; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Otis Burns, Maryville; one sister, Mrs. Mamie Henry, Walland. Funeral services at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home Chapel. Burial in Clarks Grove Cemetery. The body will remain at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday.
