Wade F. Martin, 87, of Maryville, died Thursday, March 30, 1995, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was retired from ALCOA after 40 years of service and a member of the 25 Year Service Club. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Keller Martin; brothers, Lee, Joe, Walt; sisters, Mary Lucille, Marie. Survivors include: daughters, Linda Martin, Patricia Martin, Betty Martin Long; granddaughter, Debbie Long; brother, Earl Martin; sisters, June Whitehead, Grace Grindstaff, all of Maryville, Ina Whitehead of California. The funeral will be held at 8 p.m. today in McCammon-Ammons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Sullivan officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday at Old Piney Cemetery for the interment service. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. today at McCammon-Ammons Funeral Home, Maryville.

James Raymond Morton, 81, of Louisville, died Saturday at his home due to a heart attack. He was retired from ALCOA after 43 years of service and was a member of the 25-Year Club. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Maryville. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Lula Morton; brother, Henry Morton. He owned and operated Morton & Son Farm. Survivors include: wife; a son and daughter-in-law; daughter and son-in-law; a daughter, several grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and one sister. There will be a graveside service at 4 p.m. today at Middlesettlements Cemetery with Dr. Charles Brown and the Rev. David Lawrence officiating. Friends may call at their convenience at McCammon-Ammons Funeral Home, Maryville. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to First Baptist Church of Maryville Elevator Fund.
